The Chem Alert Pro not only protects against spray from leaks but can also alert to leakages using an intelligent colour changing fabric to show where leaks are evident.
This system, designed for flanges, fittings, valves and other process equipment will change colour when a leak is detected. This high quality system enables the early detection of leaks, helping to prevent larger spray-outs.
The colour change will only occur when the inside of the system is exposed to a chemical whilst the colour change will be visible on the outside and inside covers. The system will change colour when a reagent makes contact with the inside of the material will quickly alert personnel to a leak.
In addition to the chemical alert properties the Chem Alert Pro, the system will also provide protection to personnel from uncontrolled spray out from a leak at a flange joint. The system will control a leak and reduce the risk of contact with personnel or equipment reducing the risk of injury and down time.
