Insulcon Technical Welcomes Stephen Doyle

Insulcon Technical, a leading specialist in technical insulation and passive fire protection (PFP), is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephen Doyle as the Planning and Performance Manager. With over 25 years of extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the fast-moving consumer goods, Stephen brings invaluable expertise to the team.

In his new capacity, Stephen will oversee production and manufacturing planning, stock control, and purchasing for the manufacturing arm of the business. His primary objective is to drive enhancements in manufacturing processes, with a focus on implementing lean manufacturing practices.

Stephen’s manufacturing journey commenced as a Planned Maintenance Scheduler at the Kingsmill bread factory in Gateshead, where he spent 12 years refining his skills. He progressed within the company to become the Operations Planner, spearheading the transition from paper-based processes to digitalisation and process optimisation.

Following his tenure at Kingsmill, Stephen joined Nestle factory, where he served as a Production Coordinator before advancing to the role of Manufacturing Shift Manager. Here, he gained invaluable experience in personnel management and project execution. Throughout his career, Stephen has undergone extensive training in various production and manufacturing models and is certified in six sigma methodology.
